Using the app
PlateMate AI is provided by Michael Martinez. App Store downloads are subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a different license is shown in the App Store. These app-specific terms explain the service and purchases. Your statutory consumer rights are not excluded.
Recipes and AI output
AI-generated recipes, nutrition estimates, and cooking guidance may contain errors. Check ingredients, allergens, food safety, and cooking temperatures yourself. The app is not medical advice or a substitute for a qualified professional. You remain responsible for content you upload or import and for having permission to use it.
Accounts and service
Keep your sign-in details secure. Use the app lawfully and do not misuse the service, bypass usage limits, or interfere with other users. Features that require an internet connection or external services depend on their availability.
Subscriptions
Optional subscriptions are billed by Apple at the price and billing interval shown before purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled through your Apple account. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation generally takes effect after the current paid period; deleting the app or account does not cancel billing.
Payments and refunds
Apple processes payments and handles refund requests. Visit Apple’s Report a Problem service for purchase issues. We cannot guarantee that Apple will approve a refund.
Availability and changes
Features may change, and uninterrupted or error-free service is not guaranteed. Applicable warranty, liability, and license provisions are set out in the Apple license linked above, subject to your mandatory legal rights. Material updates to these app-specific terms will be reflected on this page.
